Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what WhichSub collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.

1. Information you provide

When you sign up we store your email address. When you use the Service you provide content such as images, captions, and destination URLs. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

2. Information we collect automatically

Our tracking short links log click events to build your analytics: a timestamp, a one-way hashed version of the visitor's IP address (we don't store raw IPs), and basic technical data such as referer and user-agent. We use this to count clicks and estimate best times to post.

3. How we use your information

We use your data to provide and improve the Service: authenticate you, generate tracking links, produce your dashboards and analytics, power AI caption suggestions, process payments, and respond to support requests.

4. How we share information

We don't sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service — including Supabase (auth and database), Vercel (hosting), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI caption generation), and Resend (contact email) — and when required by law.

5. Your content and images

Images you upload are stored so they can be previewed in the app and aren't listed publicly; they're only reachable by someone with the exact link. You can delete your posts, which removes them from your account and stats.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data; some records may be retained where required for legal or accounting purposes.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, and the database is access-controlled so other users can't read your posts or stats. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children

The Service is only for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time; the "last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Policy.
